Jade Dragon is a web series written by Bec Boey and directed by me. It was developed from a short film we made in 2015.

The series is a satire on the stereotypes British east-asians are often forced to perform in media and society, and is regularly held up as a watermark for a BESEA representation in a sitcom.

There has never been a BESEA sitcom on UK television - a gap in representation which speaks volumes of the wider TV landscape for east-asian creatives.

The series was featured in Gal-Dem, YOMYOMF and Neehao. It has screened at several web series festival and was nominated for 'Outstanding Achievement in Writing', 'Best International', 'Best Actor' and 'Best Comedy' and NYC webfest.
